Sanskrit in the modern era

Generally, people know Sanskrit is the only sacred language of various Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions. Because of almost people see it is usually used during worship in monastic temples. Actually, Sanskrit has appeared before many religions ware born in the world.

Much Sanskrit works of literature have been composed in high quality which compares with the classical Sanskrit literature and modern literature. Therefore, the numerous loan Sanskrit words are found in other major languages such as Filipino, Cebuano, Lao, Khmer Thai and its alphabets, Malay, Indonesian, and even in English.

Sanskrit has been taught in modern times which is taught in nearly 20,000 schools in India, where there are also many colleges and universities dedicated to the exclusive study of the language as one of 22 official languages of India. A number of colleges and universities in India have dedicated departments for Sanskrit studies. Including, the western scholars study the Sanskrit manuscripts that the enthusiasm for Sanskrit also grew rapidly among European Education.
